Godzilla and Kong: Joined in Death

This took weeks of planning and execution, even more than crocazill.deviantart.com/art/M..., and is by far my personal favorite (for now anyway). G-Fest attendees seemed to agree. A couple folks said they were getting this framed, which left me both flattered and surprised!

Started out as an attempt to do an updated version of crocazill.deviantart.com/art/K... Then instead of a fighting pic, I decided to make it a movie poster, with Kong on Skull Mountain and a silhouetted Godzilla lying down and snarling/smirking, with "King Kong vs. Godzilla" written in Japanese on his tail. Eventually the idea morphed into this, a juxtaposition of the death scenes from both their original (best) movies. Kong on the Empire State Building, and Godzilla with the Oxygen Destroyer.

Just wanted to pay tribute to my two biggest heroes.
